Eric Carlovich began practicing Pilates at the age of 17 and became a certified teacher in 2003 upon completing his program under Romana Kryzanowska, Sari Mejia and Inelia Garcia in Brazil. Since then, he has remained committed to working with Pilates teachers—helping them deepen their understanding of the method and further improve their teaching. In 2014, Eric left Brazil to spread the Pilates method to other parts of the world, living and teaching in Hawaii, New Zealand, China, Australia and South America. Currently based in Byron Bay, Australia, Eric continues to travel across the globe in his quest to help teachers and students alike. Eric believes that Pilates has something to offer to everyone, regardless of age, fitness level, injuries or goals – a philosophy he has carried with him throughout his career. He left Brazil in 2014 and has lived and taught Pilates in different places such as Hawaii, New Zealand, China, Australia, South America. Currently based in Byron Bay – Australia, he still travels around the world to help teachers to understand the Method deeper in their bodies and teaching.
